2026-09-20 version

Snapshot taken during the 2026-09-20 audit

The version published before the 2026 audit. That audit narrowed the step 12 attribution to a designer on OpenAI’s Codex team, and added one paragraph to step 9, the first eval: at two hundred variants the grading moves to a decision model such as TypeSafe’s Jev, called through Vercel’s AI SDK, with a confidence floor that sends only the doubtful variants to you. The same day’s editorial pass replaced the one em dash in a copyable code sample, made the closing map stop promising every tutorial file in Appendix B, unified the variant count at twenty, and pointed step 12 at chapter 14 as well as chapter 13. Later the same day step 12’s podcast citation was replaced with OpenAI’s own Codex announcement.
